Chemical Safety Testing

In the industrial age, the safety application of chemical products has become an increasing concern. In recent decades, the EU, USA, Canada and other countries have introduced a series of provisions to the usage range and condition of chemical products. The provisions are updated continuously. Against that background, confront with the green barriers have become a long and hard seesaw battle during the development process of industrial manufacturing. The most important segment lies in detection of toxic and hazardous substance.

In recent years, the world textile market focus on green products and this is having an impact on the international trade trend and ecological products research. Ecological textile products refers to those which made by armless or less harm raw material to surrounding environment, and do no harm to the health of human body. With the enhancing awareness of environment protection, consumers pay more attention to the green, non-toxic and Pollution-free products. Therefore, the textile and shoe safety and quality issues have become the common concern of countries in the world. Governments and relevant international institutions promulgated regulations or provisions to deal with the textiles safety and quality issues successively. For instance, the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Ecology issues Oeko-Tex Standard 100- 2005 in January, 2005;China issues National Fundamental Safety Technical Standard For Textiles in November , 2003; American Apparel and Footwear Association( AAFA) also unveils Restricted Substances List(RSL).

STCT not only provides comprehensive testing for harmful substance, but also the related consultation service and individualized solutions as to how to reduce the harmful substance in the textiles.
